Ingredients and spices to prepare for Steamed Garlic Shrimp:
- Shrimp 300 grams, cut the waist and remove the bottom, save the head and skin
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 spring onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced diagonally
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- To prepare the sauce:
- 6 cloves of minced garlic
- 1 inch chopped ginger
- 1 tablespoon seafood soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Chinese cooking wine
- White pepper powder to taste
Follow to prepare some steamed garlic prawns
- Mix prawns with salt and lemon juice. Set aside for 15 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the sauce ingredients.
- Place the prawns on a heatproof plate.
- Pour the sauce ingredients over the prawns.
- Steam the prawns in a large preheated pan for 8 minutes. Get out of the fire. (Shrimp should not be steamed too long, it will be chewy and not sweet anymore)
- Arrange the sliced green onions and red chilies evenly over the prawns.
- Heat the sesame oil in a small skillet until very hot. Pour the sesame oil evenly over the prawns.
- Serve over porridge or hot rice. Hmmm!
